Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our dedicated team at our busy, well-established boarding kennels. Our newly refurbished grooming salon is fully equipped and designed to offer both groomer and dog a calm, efficient experience.
What we're looking for:
A recognised dog grooming qualification Confidence and competence in completing full grooms to breed standards Ability to work independently and manage your schedule Friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to dogs and their owners Own scissors required (all other equipment provided)
Responsibilities
Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming for dogs of various breeds and sizes. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards. Communicate with pet owners about grooming needs and provide excellent customer service. Assist in lifting and handling larger dogs as necessary, ensuring their well-being throughout the process. Stay updated on animal care practices and grooming techniques.
