Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Distribution Assistant to join our small manufacturing team. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks.

Our in-house laboratories provide bespoke orders directly to our Distribution team, who are then responsible for ensuring all orders are prepped and ready to send out to our customers. The ability to work in a busy environment while keeping a level head is essential.

We are looking for someone who will split their time between the Distribution and Production teams.

It is an advantage if you have experience in customer service, as the candidate will need to answer email enquiries if covering for those on annual leave.

Duties

We have a rota system so that throughout the day and over the week you may be involved in different areas that include:

Picking Quality Checking Packing Production Lab Customer Service (covering Annual Leave).

Requirements

Full training is provided. You do not need previous warehouse experience. Excellent written communication. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. An understanding of the importance of health and safety in laboratory and warehouse environments - which includes wearing PPE that we provide (e.g. lab coats).
Hours are 7am-4pm Monday-Friday.
