Dispensary Assistant
Job Description
Candidate must be NVQ2 dispensary assistant qualified, do not apply if you have not got this qualification.
We are looking for someone to join our pharmacy team.
Job role
Candidate must know how to make up mds packs and able to perform general pharmacy duties including dispensing, ordering, counter sales, good customer service, answering the phone and use the computer etc. Knowledge of the local area would be advantageous as some deliveries maybe required.
Hours - 23hrs per week
mon 9-6pm ( another day tbc) Fri 9-6pm
Including cover for holidays and sick
To work one Saturday in every 6 weeks 9am -1pm
Summary
As a Dispensary Assistant, you will be integral to providing exceptional patient care and support within our pharmacy team. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, your role will involve assisting with medication administration and ensuring accurate dispensing of prescriptions. Your core skills in patient care, combined with premium experience as a pharmacy technician, will enhance our commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. Additionally, your proficiency in computer skills will facilitate efficient record-keeping and inventory management, making you a vital asset in delivering quality pharmaceutical services to our community.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
