We are a successful, ethical, food company based in Tunley, just outside of Bath. We are looking for a new member to join our small, friendly team of houmous makers. We value our excellent staff and the contributions they make to the company. In our most recent survey 100% of our employees felt their contributions were valued and they they were always treated with respect. We enjoy a vegetarian lunch together every day. Not always exciting but free and relatively healthy. Some staff start very early, so a hot lunch is most welcome, especially in the winter. Working Hours (minimum of 25 hours, NB all overtime is paid) Mondays 8 am to 4 pm (but must be prepared to stay till 5 pm if needed) Tuesdays 11 am to 4 pm (but must be prepared to stay till 5 pm if needed) Wednesdays 8 am to 4 pm (but must be prepared to stay till 5 pm if needed) Fridays 10 am to 2 pm As a rule you will not be required to work Thursdays but 4 weeks a year when Marie (our officer manager) is on holiday you will be needed to come in on Thursdays 10 am to 4 pm (but must be prepared to stay till 5 pm if needed) Duties Entering a variety of information onto the computer Taking deliveries Filling crates Temperature checking of products Moving product from kitchen to dispatch area Making and filling boxes Packing product onto pallets ready to be moved Using the forklift truck (its just a small one)to load onto the vans. Full training will be given Keeping accurate records You will be required to help in the kitchen on Mondays and Wednesdays, which are our busiest days Qualifications We require no formal qualifications but you must be willing to take a basic course in Kitchen Hygiene and learn how to use the Fork Lift Truck You must be reliable, we are a small team and absences impact negatively on your colleagues You must be clean, hair, nails and clothes. You will be given a hair net, kitchen shoes and \'whites\' to wear when you are in the kitchen You must be willing to follow our exacting hygiene rules You must be IT literate and careful, the job involves entering information onto the computer eg booking collections, putting information onto the cook chart. If information is entered incorrectly it could cause serious problems You must be physically strong the work involves a lot of lifting You must be hardy, the kitchen is cold and the dispatch area is even colder. We will provide you with a heated jacket We are not looking for someone who intends to stay, so this job is not suitable for students looking to earn some extra money You must have your own transport as public transport in this part of the world is sadly lacking We could be flexible with the start date for this job, if the right candidate needed to give notice Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Salary: \xc2\xa312.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25 per week Benefits:
