We currently have a vacancy for (Full-Time 37.5 Hours) Dispatch Agent based at Aberdeen Airport.

The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

You will be working in the Ground Services department. Ensuring consistent delivery of high performance standards in the provision of the smooth, timely and accurate processing of Aircraft turnaround, Internal/External Operational communication and Flight monitoring/record keeping. This is a "hands on" role and you will be expected to maintain Aircraft Dispatch and Weight & Balance competency You should be able to demonstrate a hardworking, adaptable attitude and be able to thrive on variety in the workplace.

Main Responsibilities and Objectives

To consistently deliver the highest possible level of customer service at all times. To effectively manage an aircraft's turnaround giving support where appropriate. Responsible for coordinating the safe, secure and correct aircraft arrival/departure from its parking stand. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the safe unloading/loading of the aircraft. To assist passenger services and passengers being guided to and from the aircraft in a safe manner. To ensure correct loading procedures are passed to the ramp team allocated to the flight. To ensure the correct loaded figures is passed to the captains or CLC for weight and balance. Compliance with baggage reconciliation and Triple A requirements. Ensure effective communication with Ops Control of delay information.
It is expected that you should be familiar with airline products, although training can be provided where required.

The position will involve shift work, which will include earlies, lates, weekends and bank holidays.
