As a disability assessor you will offer a very important service that makes you a part of the bigger picture.
You will be assessing and compiling reports that help applicants through the often daunting benefits process. This is a rewarding role for someone who thrives in a communication-focused environment, as you will be meeting with applicants to ascertain how their health condition and/or disability affects their daily lives and mobility. You will also conduct observations and assessments and compile reports.

The contractual hours for this role are Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm however most of us work Monday to Friday between 8am- 6pm. We also offer a competitive salary with greater financial reward compared to many other healthcare roles.
Some disability assessors are primarily based from home and depending on location, also work from our assessment centres for six to eight days per month to deliver face-to-face consultations. You\'ll spend additional time in our centres or office locations to catch up with your manager and wider team or attend in-person training sessions.
Qualifications
We are looking for nurses, occupational therapists, paramedics and physiotherapists with at least 2 years\' post registration experience to join us. You\'ll have excellent observational and decision-making skills, strong report writing skills and you\'ll be computer literate, as typing while assessing is a huge part of this role and will be tested at interview.
Applicants must be fully registered without restriction or conditions with the NMC or HCPC and have a valid PIN, plus hold a full current driving licence with access to a car.
Additional Information
You will go on a 5-week intensive training course (fully paid). After that, there is a further 6 weeks on-the-job training with close mentorship and development.

We offer a starting salary of \xc2\xa334,000 per annum, rising to \xc2\xa335,000 on DWP approved status and the potential to earn up to \xc2\xa33,000 per annum quality bonus.
