The Director, US Learning & Development reports to the Executive Director, Global Learning & Development for Human Health. This position sits on the leadership team of the Human Health client-facing organization in Global Learning & Development. It is a US Market headquarters-based role in Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania.
The Director will lead implementation of the Human Health learning strategy and learning delivery into the US Market commercial organization. Primary focus of this role is the customer-facing teams, particularly product & disease and customer engagement skills. In addition, the Director will coordinate within Global Learning & Development to help realize a comprehensive plan for employee development across all commercial learners such as Marketers in the US Market. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders in the market in advancing and enabling Human Health Learning & Development outcomes. To enable success, this leader will need to navigate a cross-functional slate of market leaders across Human Resources and the commercial teams to deliver and execute on strategies informed by data-driven recommendations and insights. This role will require a curious, entrepreneurial, strategic individual who have a strong background in Sales and Marketing learning strategies.
Responsibilities
Lead organization of ~35 FTEs focused primarily on US sales training activity
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level business leaders and stakeholders in the US Market to enable business goals and outcomes by accelerating the development of critical capabilities needed to drive business success
Consult and partner with business leaders on governance and prioritization of learning investment, resource allocation and anticipated business impact
Plan and lead delivery, implementation, and sustainment of learning solutions through various channels
Ensure learning program content and designs adhere to all company policies and have been fully approved through appropriate US review processes
Align efforts to the Learning & Development model for continuous improvement of vendor rationalization, learning curriculum, life cycle, and enforcement of learning standards
Partner with HR Business Partners and market leaders to build effective leaders and people managers
Support Global Learning & Development oversight of Learning & Development and business budgets for learning to optimize investments

Educational Requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree required
Experience
12+ years of leadership & business experience
Commercial Learning & Development experience in the learning and development function (preferred)
3+ years US Pharmaceutical sales/sales management experience required
5+ years of people management experience required
Strong Consulting Background. Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, consult with and coach senior leaders and managers
Strategic Thinking and Planning.
Vision setting and Strategy realization
Change Leader: ability to drive change
Results-orientation: a track record of establishing clear objectives and bringing multiple parties together to achieve key initiatives

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
