Job Title Director, Plant Leader Image Guided Therapy - Devices (IGT-D)
Director, Plant Leader Image Guided Therapy will lead the startup of a newly acquired manufacturing center of excellence in Minnesota.
You will be in on the ground floor building a strong leadership team and driving the renovation, installation, and validation of a world class production facility, beginning with a Class III combination device.
In this role, you are responsible for:
- Leading the plant, related processes, and staff in the development and execution of world class operational performance.
- Attracting, retaining, and developing teammates to ensure the best talent is on the team.
- Effectively executing performance management to continually improve the talent base.
- Creating and maintaining a positive and engaging culture within the plant.
- Delivering products on time meeting safety, delivery, quality and cost requirements.
- Ensuring there is an optimum value stream flow from suppliers through the plant and to the customer.
- Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the manufacturing organization to drive the highest level of operational performance (safety, delivery, quality, productivity, and cost).
- Effectively supporting the introduction of new products into the plant\xe2\x80\x99s value streams and driving ownership throughout the manufacturing transfer and post-launch transitions.
- Creating and executing multi-year operational strategic plans.
- Assessing and implementing programs to address organizational capability needs to achieve the strategic plans.
- Preparing multi-year operational budgets and investment plans including staffing, expense, control, and capital.
- Managing and executing cost reduction and productivity plans.
- Ensuring all employees adhere to all applicable cGMPs, ISO, FDA, corporate, division and local procedures.
You\'re the right fit if you have a customer-first attitude and the following:
- BS/MS - Engineering degree, MBA is preferred
- 12+ years of experience in expanding Operations roles of cross-disciplinary responsibilities (manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, etc.) in a highly regulated industry (medical devices or pharmaceutical is strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of experience leading a broad organizational effort or function within operations
- Strong leadership skills (change management, communications, leading diverse teams, building rapport and executing within a complex matrixed organization).
- Demonstrated ability to establish and lead a team / plant in Lean methodologies (daily management, value stream analyses, kaizen, root cause, culture of continuous improvement, etc.)
- Proven results-oriented track record in leading a plant or significant operation (quality, delivery, cost, productivity)
- Ability to effectively communicate to numerous stakeholders including senior management, other Business Groups, internal and/or external customers and staff
- Ability to be proficient with FDA QSR/cGMP and ISO13485 requirements to maintain commitment to environmental and quality regulations
