We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Director of Sales to join our group of hotels; namely the Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa and the Best western Plus Manor Hotel.


As our Group Director of Sales your main responsibilities will be to develop new business opportunities whilst maintaining the growth of all existing business. To build and develop relationships within the corporate and MICE sectors and to create and implement marketing and sales strategies.


You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below, combined with strong commercial awareness, results driven and thriving on making key commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities for the Director of Sales are;



Be responsible for identifying channels for targeting new customers, stealing share from competitors, raising awareness of the hotels and increasing revenues. Develop sales strategies that generate consistent year-on-year growth. Oversee all new business brought into the hotel as well as potential new leads for them to follow up. Achieve set Revenue Targets for Business (e.g. conversion ratio) as agreed and set out in the Sales Activity Plan. Partner across all departments in an effort to support the team in consistent execution of all systems and processes to deliver all products and services to the companies diverse brand standards. Market a multi-product business line (accommodation, food and beverage, golf and leisure and special events) to disparate guest profile (corporate, tourist and local). Establish, maintain and develop relationships with new clients. Establish, maintain and develop interactive customer / agent relations and be aware of any possible future requirements. Foster an environment of customer service in which all team members put the guest first in every situation. Support with initiative and commitment the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenues, costs and team work, whilst developing personal competency levels.
