We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that our organisation attracts, develops, and retains a talented workforce. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a deep understanding of HRIS systems such as Workday and PeopleSoft, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals.
Manage the recruitment process using systems like Taleo to attract top talent.
Supervise HR staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Communicate policies and procedures clearly to all employees, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Present HR initiatives and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Oversee employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Manage HRIS systems to ensure accurate data management and reporting.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a senior HR role with a strong understanding of human resources functions.
Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
Strong data analysis skills to drive informed decision-making within the department.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
Knowledge of current employment legislation and best practices in human resources.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
