• Dundee Rep Theatre, a leader in Scottish theatre, producing award-winning and critically acclaimed productions, including world premieres and festival successes such as the Scottish premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning August: Osage County, the Scotsman Fringe First winner and Musical Theatre Review's Best Musical at Edinburgh Fringe 2024 A History of Paper, and the world premieres of musicals No Love Songs and Oor Wullie.
• Scottish Dance Theatre, Scotland's flagship contemporary dance company, which tours nationally and internationally, bringing innovative performances to audiences across Europe, South America, and Australia. Founded as a grassroots community company in 1986, it has evolved into a leading force in dance, collaborating with artists worldwide and performing in venues ranging from remote Scottish village halls to opera houses in South America and art festivals in Europe.
• Engage Programme, offering community outreach, creative learning, and dramatherapy, making high-quality arts experiences accessible to all. We have been one of only two UK theatres providing dramatherapy for adults and families for over 30 years, offering therapeutic mental health support in a creative, non-clinical environment.

About the Role:As a key member of the Executive Team, you'll ensure the financial health, sustainability, and compliance of the organisation, while driving their new Strategic Framework and Business Plan, fueled by a recent Creative Scotland funding uplift. Combining financial expertise and people-focused leadership, you'll align strategies to support their artistic and operational goals.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy, reporting, and governance to ensure stability and transparency.
• Drive human resources initiatives, including workforce planning, policy development, and employee engagement.
• Support strategic planning, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making across departments.
• Serve as a key liaison for funders, sponsors, auditors, and external partners.

What You'll Need:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant financial leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in charity or cultural organisation financial management.
• Strong commercial skills, including income modeling and VAT compliance.
• Deep understanding of employment law and HR practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

The salary range for the post is xc2xa355,000 - xc2xa365,000 per annum dependent on experience plus a competitive benefits package.
