Responsibilities

As the Director of Institutional Investor Marketing with Hines, you will focus on three main responsibilities as it seeks to expand Hines\xe2\x80\x99 investor reach globally. This person will be responsible for 1. developing investor marketing and communications strategies; 2. executing a range of tasks to achieve these goals; and 3. using strong leadership and critical thinking skills to assist with the daily operations of the Investor Marketing team. This person should have a strong foundation with institutional investors along with solid project management, messaging, strategy and execution skills. This person will modify existing content / campaigns / events and create new ones to drive sales. The ideal candidate needs to be creative, organized and focused on achievements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning

• Works closely with Fund Managers and Capital Markets Group to understand Hines\' goals and obstacles with investors, and creates tailored marketing and communications plans/goals for each product
• Works closely with Geo Hub Heads and other MarComm team members to develop integrated MarComm strategies
• Design integrated campaign strategies and guide our PR efforts to shape the narrative

Execution

• Engaged in all institutional marketing and communications initiatives globally; participation and tasks below will range depending on the activity and region \xe2\x80\x93 themes will be messaging, content, the press, events and digital
• Executes multi-faceted, tailored marketing and communications plans alongside integrated MarComm team to drive fundraising
• Creates original content / campaigns / event ideas and monitors KPIs
• Creates and executes digital pushes for IM targeted publications
• Crafts key messages for investment management as well as Hines as a fiduciary
• Assists with ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to Hines re-branding effort (will include visual identity, messaging, etc.)

Operations

• Acts as a strategic advisor to the Global Head of Investor Marketing and represents the investor audience in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Helps manage an ever-growing team to ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives
• Creates and maintains systems and processes to streamline operations
• Manages budget for sponsorships, advertising, social media ads, investor events, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field from an accredited institution

Eight or more years of previous professional experience, preferably in financial services

Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to easily process and synthesize vast amounts of information

Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, multi-task and prioritize

Organized, proactive and self-motivated individual

Ability to keep calm and problem solve quickly under high pressure moments

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Work overtime as business needs deem appropriate

Ability to travel 25%
