About the Team:


This exciting role is based within the Business & Relationship Management (BRM) department in London, reporting to a Senior Director in the ESG BRM team.


How You'll Make an Impact:


We are seeking a Director with ESG/Sustainable Finance expertise to join the ESG BRM team, based in London. This highly self-motivated individual will have a focus on business development of Sustainable Fitch ESG products across Financial Institution (FI) Issuers and arrangers/advisors, in addition to relationship management of the existing portfolio, with the aim of maximising revenues. As an integral member of the ESG BRM team, the successful candidate would provide proactive strategic thinking to the senior team, in order to further develop the success of the EMEA ESG BRM group.
Lead the EMEA FI Sustainable Fitch marketing efforts with bankers/arrangers who structure frameworks for which they require a Second Party Opinion (SPO). Lead the EMEA FI Sustainable Fitch marketing efforts with both existing issuer relationships and target issuers Working with the senior Relationship Managers to identify and pursue opportunities for Sustainable Fitch ESG products with existing accounts Research and prospect new ESG products targets for EMEA Understand the Sustainable Fitch ESG products methodologies to accurately market the service to issuers Develop marketing pitchbooks plus other materials required for engagement with target issuers and existing issuers Support contract negotiation and other duties required for ESG product mandates Creative idea development for new marketing angles Track debt capital markets ESG labelled bond transactions Identify the developments in sustainable finance, capital markets structures and issuance volumes Organise and host Fitch sponsored ESG events & webinars Represent Fitch Group's ESG Products externally at conferences, panels and webinars



You May be a Good Fit if:


This role requires an experienced individual with highly developed and successful relationship management skills. The successful candidate will have a background and experience in ESG developed either in financial services, banking or another ESG focused agency.
A keen interest in Environmental, Social and Governance matters is a must Understanding and experience of Debt Capital Markets Knowledge of investor, banker and issuer ESG requirements and processes would be preferable Excellent English language communication and presentation skills, verbal & written Strong marketing and negotiation skills Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate confidently with senior members of Corporate Finance and Treasury teams (including Sustainability Officers, Treasurers and CFOs) Experience of developing business plans and leading strategic projects Ability to work independently within a strategic framework, whilst maintaining high standards and excellent attention to detail. Team oriented, with the ability to effectively build relationships internally and externally. Strong knowledge of preparing business development materials using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM (Client Relationship Management) systems (e.g. Salesforce) and knowledge or aptitude to work with market data systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, Dealogic
