The Director, Danaher Operating Company Strategic Partnerships is a key member of the Strategy and Strategic Partnerships Leadership Team responsible for developing the use of Abcam's unique affinity reagent portfolio, research insights and commercial capabilities for proteomic research in partnership with other Danaher Operating Companies.


This position reports to the Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships and is part of the Strategic Partnerships team and would be located in Waltham, MA or Cambridge, UK.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:



Provide strong leadership to accelerate proteomics revenue growth for Abcam through collaboration with other Danaher operating companies Coordinate and lead, with the support of relevant teams the development of standard work for collaboration with other Danaher operating companies Support the generation and management of a funnel of opportunities with Danaher Operating Company partners identifying areas for growth through the provision of affinity reagents, proteomics assay content and associated products and services Collaborate cross functionally with R&D, Product, Ops, Commercial, Legal/Regulatory, and Finance teams and LSIG Group and Danaher Corporate teams to prioritize, ensure viability, evaluate and structure projects to maximize strategic value to Danaher focusing to ensure prioritization of critical few and expectation alignment Create and ensure compliance with internal processes as well as all legal requirements Using DBS tools, manage multiple projects consecutively with clear communication to cross functional collaborators and management

The essential requirements of the job include:



MSc or Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related fields Long standing experience of strategic project management within the life sciences industry, with proven track record of developing and delivering strategic projects Proven success in leading teams of cross functional collaborators to deliver on the execution against strategic goals of a business Excellent communication, commercial acumen and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross Danaher stakeholders at all levels Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects

It would be a plus if you also possess:



Experience using DBS tools to accelerate partnerships and innovation

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:



Up to 50% travel required (domestic and international)
