We are looking for a creative and social-savvy

Digital & Social Marketing Executive

to join our team. This role is perfect for a content enthusiast with a passion for social media, digital storytelling, and engaging online communities. You'll help shape our brand voice across multiple platforms while supporting wider digital campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, and engagement for Onyx Gaming and its brands.

Hybrid Work

This is a full-time role based primarily in our

Colchester office

, with the flexibility of some remote working.

Duties & Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

Own and grow our social presence across platforms like Twitter/X, Facebook & LinkedIn. Plan and schedule content that reflects our brand tone and values.

Content Creation:

Produce fun, engaging, and platform-native content -- from memes to match previews and community shoutouts.

Community Engagement:

Respond to comments and messages, start conversations, and help foster a loyal following.

Influencer & Partner Collaboration:

Support relationships with content creators, influencers, and affiliates to expand brand reach.

Copywriting:

Write clear, witty, and on-brand copy for social posts

Campaign Support:

Contribute to the planning and execution of wider marketing campaigns.

Performance Reporting:

Track and report on key metrics like reach, engagement, and social-driven traffic.

Trend Monitoring:

Stay on top of emerging social trends and igaming culture to keep our content fresh, timely, and shareable.

Requirements

Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience in digital marketing with a

strong focus on social media

. Strong grasp of platform-specific best practices (Twitter/X, Facebook & LinkedIn). Ability to write creative, engaging, and on-brand copy. Confident using social publishing and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, GA4). Basic understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO and content outreach. A passion for sports - familiarity with at least two of the following: Football, Horse Racing, Cricket, Tennis, Basketball, Darts, Golf, American Football, or Boxing. A sense of humour and a team-player attitude.

Pluses

Experience with WYSIWYG CMS platforms, HTML, or CSS. Familiarity with influencer or affiliate platforms. Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools). Understanding of content marketing and CRO.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
