Mission: Developing engineering instructions to set standards using 3D CAD and Adobe Suite to produce a variety of digital assets while continuously improving the user experience (UX) of product information.

At Atlas Copco IAS Deeside, we create exceptional industrial tooling for leading automotive brands. Our Digital Publications team in Deeside is responsible for user-friendly product instructions, available via a digital portal and mobile app, supporting both end-users and Atlas Copco engineers.

Place of work: Head Office, Deeside (60%) / Working from home (40%)

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing engineering instructions to set standards
• Maintaining existing technical publications
• Continuously improving user experience (UX) of product information
• Generating video instructions when needed
• Help with onboarding external support

Professional:

Publishing Software: Familiarity with InDesign or similar publishing software, from basic to advanced levels.

Graphic Tools: Proficiency in Photoshop and Acrobat is a plus but not mandatory; we provide training as needed.

Document Authoring: Experience in creating equipment and software user manuals is desirable for experienced applicants.

3D CAD: Experience in 3D CAD is advantageous however inhouse training will be provided.

User Experience (UX): An understanding of UX concepts is preferred.

Augmented Reality (AR): A strong interest in AR is highly valued, and we offer opportunities to explore this field.
