As part of our ongoing growth and commitment to innovation, we are looking to expand our marketing team with the addition of a talented Digital Marketing Specialist.

Job Overview



As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to promote our services across various platforms. You will focus on increasing online visibility, managing campaigns, content creation, and event promotion. This role involves working closely with the wider marketing team to support a range of projects while aligning with the company's overall marketing goals.

This position is office-based in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities



Digital Marketing Strategy & Campaigns



Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns aimed at promoting our services. Manage and optimise SEO and PPC strategies to improve online visibility and lead generation. Create engaging content for digital platforms, including the website, email newsletters, social media, webinars, and podcasts. Oversee the management and growth of social media accounts ensuring high-quality content is posted and performance is regularly analysed. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimise campaigns and gain actionable insights, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation to drive engagement.

Website Management & Content



Manage and update the company website, ensuring an optimal user experience, content is up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Podcast Management



Produce, coordinate, and promote podcasts as part of our content strategy, ensuring they align with the interests of our target audience.

Email Marketing & Automation



Design, execute, and optimise email marketing campaigns targeting both current, prospective clients and our reporting community using our Marketing Automation platform. Implement A/B testing for ads, landing pages, and emails to optimise conversions. Analyse campaign performance metrics to improve future email marketing strategies.

Events



Assist in planning and promoting events, webinars, and industry conferences. Develop digital assets to support event promotion. Coordinate social media and email campaigns surrounding events to drive engagement and attendance. Occasionally travel to industry events and conferences across the UK to support event execution and promote the company's services.

Supporting the Marketing Team



Assist in a variety of marketing initiatives and projects. Help with market research, competitor analysis, and the creation of marketing reports. Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.

Qualifications, Training and Experience



Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within the healthcare or medical sector. Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools. Experience in podcast production and promotion. Proficient in WordPress for website management. Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for creating digital assets. Experience with video editing for promotional content, such as podcast teasers or event highlights. Experience with Marketing Automation platforms to optimise email marketing campaigns, automate workflows, and nurture leads. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest digital marketing trends. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, working effectively across departments.
