Job Description


As the Digital Learning Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead the development and implementation of digital learning strategies and initiatives within the organisation. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience by leveraging technology and digital tools to create engaging and effective learning programs for employees, customers, or other target audiences. Your aim is to drive the organisation\'s digital learning and literacy transformation, ensuring that employees and stakeholders have access to - and make good use of - high-quality, accessible, and impactful learning resources.
Key job outcomes/accountabilities

  • Develop and lead delivery of a digital learning strategy aligned with organisational goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the digital learning field
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to a team of digital learning professionals. Foster a positive work environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Develop and lead delivery of a digital learning strategy aligned with organisational goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the digital learning field.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to a team of digital learning professionals. Foster a positive work environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Support organisational change by supporting and promoting the adoption of digital tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development as technology and business-needs evolve.
  • Ensure that employees have guidance and support during times of transition to new digital tools and learning methods. As part of this, manage the successful delivery of Adoption and \xe2\x80\xa2 Change Management for Digital Transformation, reporting to various Digital Transformation project and programme boards on all aspects of project delivery.
  • Oversee the development, design, and curation of digital learning content, including online courses, interactive modules, videos, and other multimedia resources. Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and external vendors to create and enhance digital learning materials.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of digital learning initiatives, drawing from quantitative and qualitative sources to identify areas for improvement and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Ensure digital learning initiatives adhere to relevant industry standards, legal requirements, and accessibility guidelines. Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of content and user experience.
  • Contribute to Change & Transformation plans for assigned projects, ensuring adoption, change management and learning are considered as key factors; particularly in digitally focused projects.
  • To work with the Employee Engagement and Communication Manager to contribute to internal communication plans for projects.
Essential Requirements
  • Change Management certified e.g., Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Change Management Specialist (CMS), Certified Problem and Change Manager (CPCM), PROSCI Change Management Certification, or another professional management qualification with detailed knowledge of the practical application of project and/or change methodologies (or similar) principles, methods, techniques & tools with proven management experience, including the successful delivery of digital behaviour change.
  • Able to originate and implement digital learning and change management strategies across a complex, diverse organisation, from service-specific issues through to organisation-wide initiatives. Experience of successfully overcoming change resistance.
  • Experience of developing or overseeing of the creation of digital learning content that is effective, engaging, accessible, and contributes to the achievement of corporate and/or service objectives.
