Location:

Bolton (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Salary:

26,000 - 42,000 per annum (Dependant on experience)

Hours:

Full-time or Part-time considered, Flexible Core hours arrangements available

Qualifications & Experience Desired:



Familiarity with Wordpress, ideally Craft CMS (beneficial not essential) Comfortable and confident in their own ability to create content and publish it online to most effective/gain most reach Understand SEO - The Content & Digital lead will be required to repost content, work with wider team for social media posting and sharing of content etc and will be capable of optimising the content Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, and SEO Familiar with using AI for content generation and research, with a focus on editing, amending, and tailoring the output Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, GSC and Google Analytics A good eye for design and presentation, ensuring content is engaging and well-formatted Organisational and project management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with PPC campaigns is a plus Be proactive in supporting the business, this can look like actively starting new projects, collaborating with internal teams to improve their effectiveness or look for continuous improvements

Key Responsibilities:



Lead the creation and management of content for our websites, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and optimised for SEO. Oversee the publication of content, including uploading, ensuring it is visually appealing and meets quality standards. Work with our Communications & Design Manager to ensure consistent branding and messaging across platforms. Add meta titles and descriptions to content and ensure SEO best practices are followed Collaborate with our Marketing Apprentice and Data Apprentice for content support. Manage the process of drafting, uploading, and reposting content, aiming for around 15-20 articles per week across our sites. Supported by the use AI tools for content generation and research but ensure all content is edited, amended, and tailored to our voice and objectives. Analyse content performance and recommend improvements. Assist with PPC campaigns and help to improve campaign performance where relevant.
