The Post
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Communications, Marketing and Recruitment Directorate for a Digital Content Officer. The award-winning marketing team at the University of Stirling, communicates with a wide audience across a number of platforms including web, social media, digital advertising, publications and email. Leveraging these channels is particularly important in fostering our relationships with students and staff and in raising the profile of our brand in a global market. We are looking for a Digital Content Officer to support and enhance our digital communications. The post holder will be a content specialist with expertise in writing and creating targeted, compelling content for key audiences as well as a strong project manager who can work with and manage agency relationships. The Digital Content Officer will be creative and innovative, with the ability to bring to life insights, topics and trends; interrogate analytics; and produce great reporting and storytelling. Passionate about the role of digital marketing-communications in engaging audiences, the Digital Content Officer will be highly organised and an outstanding communicator while keeping a clear eye on strategic goals and priorities. The successful candidate will be aware of innovative best practice and emerging trends within digital media, with an ability to make recommendations and plan strategic digital media campaigns. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the post-holder will be an enthusiastic team player, working closely with colleagues in the marketing and communications teams, and confident in building effective relationships across the University.
