Digital Business Analyst

As a Barclays Digital Business Analyst, you will be at the heart of our ability to deliver and support resilient, secure infrastructure technology and services. Working within the Digital Colleague Experience team of Group Technology Infrastructure Services (GTIS), you will be instrumental in ensuring that requirements, functional specifications, and unit testing requirements are well understood, and participate in all aspects of analysis, design, implementation and deployment of all software related to these applications.

What will you be doing?

• Working as individual contributor towards completing assigned tasks or Jiras
• Focusing on business engagement, stakeholder management and requirements elicitation
• Setting up and managing daily calls with stakeholders, project manager and development teams
• Identifying opportunities to showcase product capabilities on wider forums and leverage capabilities
• Using Gherkin to write user stories

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Ideally qualified in Business Analysis such as BSC International Diploma
• Understanding of and experience with web Accessibility is essential
• Experience with case tools such as Jira and Confluence and with research tools, web analytics and data analysis, preferably Tableau and Qualtrics
• Able to perform and document gap analysis (data and requirements) using industry standards such as UML

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience with SOAP, REST API and swagger to cover business flow of an application
• Ability to use MS Visio or other similar tools to design business flow diagrams whenever required
• Ability to read, write and execute simple queries in DBs like SQL, Oracle and Mongo
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
