Our mission is to proactively assist the 95,000 inmates\' loved ones and the 650,000 individuals arrested annually, empowering them with the tools and guidance they need for their journey.Role Description:We are seeking a motivated and talented student to join our team as a Web Design and Marketing Assistant. This role will involve managing and maintaining our Wordpress website, ensuring it remains accessible and engaging for our users. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with targeted marketing campaigns to raise awareness about our project and reach potential users. A person with any fundraising experience is also highly desirable.Preferred start date: ASAPHours per week: Approximately 180 hours but we are flexible and can work around any candidates existing commitments.Location: Remotely (in the UK)Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain the organization\'s Wordpress website, ensuring it reflects our mission and remains user-friendly.
  • Assist with the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling content for the website and social media platforms.
  • Provide support for fundraising efforts, including grant applications and donor outreach.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for the growth and development of the project.
Person SpecificationQualifications:
  • Proficiency in web design and maintenance using Wordpress.
  • Experience with targeted marketing campaigns and social media management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Passion for social impact and supporting marginalized communities.
  • Lived experience of the support services offered by The Unseen Victims Project is advantageous but not essential
