Job Description

Following a recent restructure our IT team are looking for a DevOps Analyst.

What you will be doing on a daily basis is (working with infrastructure and deskside support colleagues) provide applications support to core business applications, ensure daily tasks are completed and prioritise and resolve issues related to applications.

There is a need for candidates to work with colleagues across all campuses to identify and shape future solutions by speaking about requests and capturing requirements in a structured manner.

The post holder will also assist in the setup of a DevOps function particularly reporting and organisation.

Technical skills required are: SharePoint, API\'s, systems integration, automation, Business Analysis and / or Requirements Engineering, excellent written communication and problem solving.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in business process, excellent problem solving skills and an a genuine interest in applications support and development, the ability to \'get stuck in\' and the attitude of wanting to improve services and solutions to teaching and learning services are critical to the success of this role.

An in-depth knowledge of college systems isn\'t required so long as the candidate has the skills and ability to support, understand and analyse requirements for systems in a fast paced environment.
