The Role: Engineering Manager
The Team: Lead a diverse and global team of quantitative analysts and software developers, the successful candidate will be working at the cutting edge of software and financial engineering.
The Impact: S&P Global is currently investing in their technology and data platform to develop several new revenue generating products, leveraging open source and big data technologies. These include new data integration, advanced analytics, visualization, aggregation, and smart data initiatives that address new customer needs and are highly visible and strategic within the organization.

Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Experience leading and managing globally distributed development teams.
\xc2\xb7 Lead teams in design and development of \xe2\x80\x9cBig Data\xe2\x80\x9d infrastructure for batch and real-time analytics.
\xc2\xb7 Interpret and analyse business use-cases and feature requests into technical designs and development tasks.
\xc2\xb7 Take ownership of delivery, participate in regular design and architecture review meetings.
\xc2\xb7 Be delivery focused, have a passion for technology and will enjoy offering new ideas and approaches.
\xc2\xb7 Run sprint planning and retrospectives, assign work items, report status and demonstrate progress to the wider organization.

\xc2\xb7 Effectively manage timelines and cross team coordination.
\xc2\xb7 Be able to demonstrate commercial experience on big data/advanced analytics production workloads in the cloud.
Basic Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $A to $Z. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual\'s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
