The roleContract: Permanent, Full Time, Term-Time plus 5 training days (negotiable with successful applicant)St Gregory's Catholic High School is looking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic Design Technology / Construction technician to work alongside our outstanding Design and Technology team.The ideal candidate will have a positive work ethic with the ability to support the teaching of Technology by providing practical support and the creation of resources that will inspire our pupils and allow them to progress to their full potential.In this role you will be a key player in making a difference to the lives of young people in an educational setting.This opportunity will suit someone who has previous school based experience or industry experience that can help an educational setting, however, we are open to exploring all previous experience to review how this could support our DT and Construction curriculums.There will be opportunities on some occasions to support other subject areas if you have those interests too.Children work extremely positively with staff at St Gregory's and behaviour is Outstanding with our young people achieving very highly making our school one of the highest performing in the North West.Ofsted grade the school as a 'Good' school and we have been graded as 'Outstanding' for Catholic Life in our Section 48 inspection.Our school is at the heart of the thriving Catholic Parishes of West Warrington situated in an area of substantial growth next to all of the key motorway routes in the North West.We take pride in our relationship with the local community, partner primary schools and our partnerships within the archdiocese trust.Your qualities will include being positive, dedicated and committed whilst showing passion and an ambition for all children.
