Summary

A highly esteemed private investment firm with an extensive portfolio of luxury hotels worldwide, including some of the most prestigious resorts and accommodations. Renowned for commitment to excellence and creating exceptional guest experiences, currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Manager to join the team.
As the Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) aspects of all hotel projects. Your responsibilities will include monitoring budgets, challenging pricing, quantities, and quality of FF&E, ensuring timely orders, and creating captivating layouts and concepts. You will also be responsible for snagging and follow-up to ensure everything aligns with the design vision. Additionally, you will source accessories, manage allocated budgets, collaborate with art consultants, and curate look books to guide hotel teams in achieving the desired ambiance and aesthetics.

:

• Keep abreast of FF&E budgets, monitoring changes, and meticulously challenging pricing, quantities, and quality to optimize cost-effectiveness without compromising on design excellence.
• Sense check FF&E elements against room layouts, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to design standards throughout the hotels.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create captivating FF&E layouts and concepts that align with our brand identity and the unique characteristics of each hotel property.
• Oversee the snagging process, meticulously inspecting and rectifying any discrepancies or deficiencies in design implementation to achieve flawless project delivery.
• Source accessories and oversee styling efforts across our hotels, skilfully managing allocated budgets to enhance guest experiences and elevate the visual appeal.
• Work closely with art consultants and conduct additional sourcing to identify and curate distinctive art pieces that add character and elegance to our hotel spaces.
• Construct look books that serve as visual guidelines for our hotel teams, ensuring consistent design execution across all properties and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Skills Necessary:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a design management role, preferably within the luxury hospitality or real estate industry.
• Extensive knowledge of FF&E procurement processes, budget management, and quality control.
• Proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and design trends, coupled with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
