Job Description

We are delighted to advertise the post of DT Technician to complement our Team. This vacancy will be based at Sheffield Springs Academy. The post is permanent with 37.5 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.

The main duties of the role are to provide a high quality of technical support to the colleagues within the Design Technology and Art curriculum area.

The academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools and academies. Sheffield Springs Academy is an 11-16 secondary school serving the Park, Manor and Castle wards of Sheffield. What we would like from you:

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience of using specialist DT/Art equipment

\xc2\xb7 Someone who is solution focused.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of A-C / level 4 grade in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7 To be approachable, flexible and have excellent people skills.

\xc2\xb7 Outstanding organisation skills and keen attention to detail.

\xc2\xb7 An ability to work well under pressure
