An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the superb M2 Surgery team. It is an exciting time for the Clatterbridge site with the opening of the Mersey Surgical Hub. The successful candidate will work closely with the Leverhulme Surgical Unit and Enhanced Recovery Unit to provide postoperative care to a range of elective patients.
The successful candidate will have at least two years of post-registration experience and a passion for service improvement and development.
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with high standards of extended clinical skills. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in service development. Recent experience within a surgical setting is desirable.
Support the senior leadership team in service provision and development within the Elective Care pathway for both inpatients and day-case surgery. The successful candidate's role will be primarily M2 Surgery ward, working across the Enhanced recovery unit and Leverhulme surgical unit departments.

Support senior leadership team in service provision and development within the Elective care pathway of both in-patients and day case surgery. Day to day management of the Unit including Appraisals, Mandatory training, sickness, performance management.
