About Us


We are a nurturing and vibrant nursery, offering high-quality care and early learning for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our setting is built on a strong ethos of learning through play, creativity, and exploration, guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Open 51 weeks a year from 7:30am to 6:30pm, we are proud to offer flexible childcare that supports local families.

The Role


As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. You will also mentor and develop the team to consistently deliver high standards of care and education.

Responsibilities Include:



Supporting the smooth running of daily operations across the nursery Leading and inspiring staff, promoting best practice and professional development Ensuring full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health and safety standards Contributing to planning and delivering an engaging, child-centred curriculum Acting as a key person for allocated children, observing, assessing, and supporting their development Building positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication Assisting with recruitment, rota management, and performance targets for the setting

About You



Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare - essential Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early years safeguarding requirements Previous experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role within an early years setting Confident leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential
