The Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the nursery runs smoothly, providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children can thrive. You'll guide and support the team, champion best practice, and help create a vibrant learning space where every child feels valued and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Motivate:
Inspire, support, and develop the team to achieve their best
Deliver Excellence:
Plan and deliver a stimulating, child-centred curriculum based on the EYFS
Build Strong Relationships:
Foster open, positive communication with parents and carers
Maintain Standards:
Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
Create Inspiring Learning Opportunities:
Design experiences that ignite curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning
What You'll Bring:
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (essential)
Previous leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to nurturing young children's development
