Deputy Manager - Permanent

Salary: \xc2\xa322.50 (\xc2\xa347,970 per annum)
Hours: Full Time

Time recruitment is selecting for Deputy Ward Manager to join an exemplary national care provider in a quiet area of the beautiful Welwyn Garden City. The care home has a good CQC report and has excellent staffing ratios so plenty of support is available. We are looking for registered nurses with an active NMC pin.

• Registered Nurse who is skilled and committed to patient care

• Ensuring that patients receive high-quality care for both their physical and mental wellbeing
• Set an example for younger employees and act as a leader for them.
• Work well as a Multidisciplinary Team Member
• Devoted to oversight, evaluation, and ongoing professional development
• Experience of working with patients with dementia
• Assistance with retention and recruitment

Deputy Manager Requirements:

• Responsible for overseeing the quality of care provided by both qualified and unqualified carers.
• Assist the Manager in carrying out all policies, processes, and corporate objectives.
• Prepare a staff duty schedule to guarantee adequate staffing levels at all times.
• Responsible for monitoring each resident\'s well-being, being aware of any changes affecting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are addressed, and that written records are updated to reflect any changes.
• Act as a point of contact for residents, their family, and visitors, as well as health and social care experts involved in their care, ensuring that any reasonable requests are met and concerns or complaints are immediately investigated and addressed.
