Job Description
In readiness for re-opening after lockdown, we are now looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager to lead from the front & inspire our team.The Waterside Pub & Kitchen in Woodley near Reading, Berkshire.
Job Requirements
You will lead and inspire everyone in the team, coaching and mentoring them to be their best.
You must be very personable! A friendly & happy team is what we want.
Excellent communication and a calm head is a must in this fast paced environment.
Ensure compliance with company procedures relating to health & safety, food hygiene and especially food allergens, intolerances & dietary requirements.
Excellent personal presentation
An understanding of P&Ls, budgets, purchasing & stock control to achieve set targets
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations in the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service. Supervise kitchen staff and manage food safety protocols to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. Lead and train team members in culinary techniques and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to optimize food production and service efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 24,000.00-38,000.00 per year
