NonStop Care is currently working with a leading charity for children and young people in order to help them recruit for a Deputy Manager role in the North West London area. It is a renowned children\xe2\x80\x99s and youth\xe2\x80\x99s charity with a proud tradition of offering fostering, children\xe2\x80\x99s homes, and a variety of cutting-edge leaving care services throughout the UK and Isle of Man.
The role starts as a Deputy Manager, with the opportunity to become a Registered Manager with the help of their comprehensive in-house training.
Responsibilities:
As Deputy Manager, you will lead and support a professional team of staff committed to transforming young lives and creating positive outcomes. You will be supported by a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Team Leaders, and the team of residential staff.
Key aspect of the role:
To assist the manager in safeguarding and ensuring every child and young person receives high quality care as measured by Ofsted in the social care common inspection framework.
To assist the manager in the management of the home, including the staff, external relationships, the budget, the resources and fabric of the building.

A professional degree (CQSW, DipSW, NVQ3) Diploma Level3 for Residential Childcare or equivalent
You must have experience working with children and teenagers in a residential setting for at least one year at a level of responsibility.
