Deputy Manager - Breakfast, Afterschool & Holiday Club



Monday - Friday



Breakfast Club: 7:20am - 8.45am



After school Club: 2:30 - 6.00pm



Holiday Club: 7.30 - 6.00pm



Term Time: up to 25 hours per week



Holiday Club: minimum of 30 hours up to 40 hours



Location: Vale School BN14 0DB



13.00-15ph + holiday pay depending on experience



We are looking for a motivated and capable Deputy Manager to join our team. Working closely with the Club Manager, you'll help lead the daily running of our Breakfast, Afterschool, and Holiday Club, providing supervision and support to staff and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for children aged 4-11.

Cherrytree Childcare is an Ofsted-registered childcare provider, proudly supporting families at Vale School since 2016. We offer a high-quality, reliable Breakfast, Afterschool and Holiday Club, and have built a fantastic reputation for nurturing and supporting hundreds of children over the years.

Our ideal candidate will have:



Experience working with children aged 4-11 years Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Fun, enthusiastic, and kind personality with a positive, 'can-do' attitude Confident team leader and role model Competent with IT systems and record-keeping Creative, with the ability to plan exciting activities Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (desirable but not essential) Committed to ongoing professional development and training Must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding.

Responsibilities



Overseeing daily club operations and ensuring smooth running Communicating effectively with staff, parents, and children Preparing and delivering a wide variety of fun, engaging play and craft activities Leading, motivating, and supporting the team to ensure a positive work environment Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to Club policies and Ofsted requirements Administering First Aid and supporting with intimate care needs when necessary Leading emergency drills and promoting a safe environment Attending management meetings and contributing ideas for club development
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
