Deputy Head of Boarding (residential)
Anticipated start date: September 2025
43 hours per week (plus on-call within personal residence overnight duties)
36 weeks per year (Term time only plus inset days)
Working Hours: 7am to 9am + 3.45pm to 10.15pm, Monday to Friday (plus one weekend duty per half term)
BTCT points 16-18, commencing at point 16. Actual starting salary: 36,124 per annum.

We are looking for a well-organised, practical and understanding individual to join the Academy as a Deputy Head of Boarding. This is an exceptional opportunity for a keen boarding and or pastoral practitioner to experience all aspects of pastoral leadership and management in this busy and exciting setting. Although there will be many opportunities for the Deputy Head of Boarding to be involved in the wider life of the school, the role offers the opportunity to specialise in pastoral provision and the primary focus of the role will be on supporting and developing the boarding experience at Brymore.
This role is suited to an individual who can both lead, support and inspire both staff and students to get the maximum out of themselves on both a day-to-day basis and also over a sustained long-term approach.
We are looking for an outstanding individual to ensure the wellbeing of all the boys is at the heart of what we do, and to be part of a successful team.
