The Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs supports the Director of Corporate Affairs (also Trust Secretary) ensuring the smooth running of the Trust\'s formal governance arrangements at Board and Committee level, and with the Council of Governors. The role is to ensure that the business of the Trust Board is conducted smoothly and efficiently and to be the adviser to the Board on procedural matters, securing the Trust\xe2\x80\x99s compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
This role is the first point of contact for Governors, Non-executive Directors and Executive Directors, championing high standards of governance and promoting best practice.
This is a role with a significant amount of engagement and interaction with members of the Board, Council of Governors, senior managers, system partners and directorates across the organisation.
The Corporate Affairs Directorate reports to the Chief Executive and has responsibility for the development and delivery of exceptional corporate governance, reflecting the strategic intent and direction of the Trust.
