In collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, you will help develop the long-term vision and strategy for patient care, as well as lead on the enhanced integration of our services within the organisation and with our health and care partners across the BNSSG area.
The Deputy Chief Operating Officer will be expected to operate as a pivotal member of the operational Senior Management Team and the organisations wider Senior Leadership team by monitoring performance and reviewing the impact across the organisation.
As the post holder you will be expected to act independently, taking timely and at times, highly significant decisions to ensure operational delivery, troubleshooting, attaining, and exceeding key performance indicators and leading significant projects across the organisation and local system.

We are seeking applications from people who can demonstrate effective competencies in ensuring the safe and cost-effective provision of quality adult, children's and specialist health services that conform to CQC, safeguarding, clinical governance and other regulatory or statutory requirements across services within the span of the portfolio and developing a senior team and enabling the right operational culture. You will bring significant senior operational and leadership experience.
Managing the operational delivery plan within the Chief Operating Officers budget and delivering against cost saving plans in each of the Chief Operating Officers areas as required.
Providing exemplary leadership to support the development of Sirona's culture at every operational level and ensure the development of capabilities among Sirona's senior operational management team.
Overseeing the delivery of the ongoing agenda on resilience and emergency planning, performance management and on call arrangements, and participating in the Emergency Planning on call rota.
Leading on the operational and strategic development of community services and performance targets.
