We're looking for a

Deployment Engineer

to join our growing technical team and to support our Google Workspace Deployment projects - bridging the gap between sales, delivery, and ongoing support.



As the Deployment Engineer, your role is to

deliver value at every stage of the customer's journey to Google Workspace

. You'll play a key role in pre-sales planning, technical delivery, attending customer workshops and providing ongoing customer support. You'll report directly to the technical lead and work closely with our sales team, project manager, and support team to ensure every deployment is smooth, timely, and impactful.

You will be responsible for



On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in:

Pre-Sales



Assisting the Technical Lead with technical scoping and project pricing - to shape a statement of work (SOW). Keeping our customer demo environments maintained. Leading/Supporting a variety of customer workshops: Workspace Admin, Security, JumpCloud, Gemini, and more.

Project Delivery



Delivering professional services with precision and care, with a focus on Workspace Migrations/Deployments. Collaborating with the Technical Lead and Project Manager to keep project timelines and deliverables on track. Liaise between Cobry, partners, and clients to ensure aligned expectations and outcomes.

Support



Assist in delivering managed service projects such as annual security reviews. Assist our support team with complex customer queries and knowledge sharing Identifying opportunities for further work/support and informing account managers

Internal Initiatives



Keeping your certifications up to date Suggesting and documenting process improvements Providing weekly status updates to the Technical Lead on project status and weekly priorities.

You will need:



+

Preferred prior experience delivering IT deployments or cloud migration projects

(Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar) +

Hands-on experience configuring and managing Google Workspace or equivalent platforms.

(Admin Console, user provisioning, security settings, etc.)

Preferred familiarity with identity and access management tools

(e.g., JumpCloud, Okta, Azure AD)
+

Comfort running technical workshops or customer training sessions

--you can translate tech into value and are comfortable leading calls.

Experience working in cross-functional teams,

including working with Sales, Project Management, and Support
+

Strong organisational skills

with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
+

Excellent communication skills

--you can build trust with customers and explain technical stuff without the jargon
+

A proactive, problem-solving mindset

--you flag issues early, suggest improvements, and help things run smoother
+

Willingness to work towards (and/or maintain) relevant Google Cloud certifications

Familiarity with basic project tracking tools

(e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar) and collaborative platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack)

28k-32k
