About the role
The Faculty of Classics invites applications for a 2-year fixed-term Departmental Lecturer in Greek Literature. The appointee will be employed by the Faculty of Classics. The postholder is expected to engage in advanced study and research in any aspect of Greek Literature, and to lecture and teach both undergraduate and graduate students. They will also be expected to engage in examination assessment, admissions processes, and Faculty administration.
About you
The successful candidate will be an outstanding researcher and teacher in Greek Literature, and be able to teach a broad range of topics. The appointee will attract and teach graduate students in Greek Literature, and will supervise masters student theses. They will be required to conduct research, give lectures, classes and tutorials, supervise, support and examine students at all levels, and engage in the administrative work of the Faculty admissions processes.
