My client is one of the most well known prestigious luxury brands in the world. They specialise in shoes, leather goods, Jewellery and ready-to-wear. My clients intention is to always be the ultimate expression of luxury, while respecting the extremely distinctive character. Due to internal promotions and movement, they are looking for established managers with Product Category experience. The Department Manager plays a crucial role in maximizing the sales and profitability of the department. You will work closely with the Boutique Managers/ Area Manager to enhance commercial performance, maintain excellent relations with key suppliers, and ensure the implementation of action plans following the Brand\'s strategic direction.

I am recruiting for a Department Manager to oversee one of their most important Store Locations

Main Responsibilities

Lead and develop the business of the Department, by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of it and relating to all relevant stakeholders.

Monitor and achieve category department performance with relevant KPI\'s.

Analyze the category business, propose and implement action plans to improve results.

Ensure an excellent and luxurious client journey.

Implement appropriate CRM tools and develop loyal clients, maximizing the possibility of networking.

Lead by example and be a coach of a large sales team of professionals.

Translate strategic and business goals into concrete and individual actions and objectives.

Set performance target for the team with the Store Director

Discuss individual performance on a regular basis and propose training and developing action plans.

Ensure that merchandise is properly managed, displayed, stored and maintained.

Report to Stock Planning and Merchandising team on sales performance

4. Be an ambassador

Represent the brand at relevant public/store events and activities, in order to promote the image, brand and products.

The Profile:

- 5 years minimum experience in luxury retail, with at least 3 years Luxury Retail Management.

- You are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Self-starter, results-driven, you implement all needed initiatives and demonstrate commercial creativity.

- Good communication and networking skills, you are able to build good professional working relationships

- Recognised for your management skills, you are pragmatic, lead by example and generate trust among subordinates, peers and management.

- Strong IT skills

Salary would be up to \xc2\xa360,000 + bonus experience dependant
