We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental practice. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Handle incoming calls, answer queries, and provide information about dental services.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in using office equipment and computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in patient records and scheduling.
A friendly disposition with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
