Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Providing chair-side support to patients during treatment, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery and equipment, ensuring high standards of infection control are maintained at all times. Processing dental radiographs and maintaining accurate records of patient care. Offering appropriate advice and guidance to patients on oral healthcare. Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and cleaned in accordance with practice protocols. Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment

Experience

Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential, preferably within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to interact effectively with patients and team members. Proficiency in using office software and dental management systems is preferred. A positive attitude, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
Requirements:

An accredited dental nursing qualification. Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Nurse. Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse within a dental practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in dental nursing.
