Job Description

We are looking for an experienced dental nurse to join a well established and thriving mixed dental practice on a full time basis

- experience with SOE Exact software preferred

Job Role

Mixture of chairside and reception duties

Usual nursing duties, experience with implants, orthodontics and facial aesthetics would be beneficial

Reception duties including:

-handling appointment schedules, including appointment book management

-assisting patients both on the phone and in practice

-handling of invoices and taking payments

-correct logging and recording of monies taken including preparation of daily cashing up records

-handling and process of forms, medical history, consent, FP17's etc

-patient debt management

-stock control and ordering of dental and stationary supplies

-handling of sensitive data in a professional manner

-general office duties, photocopying, scanning, shredding etc

-reviewing of cleaning audits

-reviewing of emergency equipment/medications

-review and report on admin processes

-maintenance and cleanliness of work environment

-attendance of training courses where required

-completing compliance audits/reviewing and updating protocols and procedures

-other responsible tasks as and when requested

Candidates should have a polite and courteous manner and enjoy interacting with patients. Should be a strong team player and enjoy expanding their dental knowledge and experience.

Working hours

Mondays 8.50am-6.10pm

Tuesdays 8.50am-6.10pm

Wednesdays 8.50am-6.10pm

Thursdays 8.50am-6.10pm

Friday 8.50am - 2.10pm
