Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care, support the dental team, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the practice. This role offers variety, from assisting in clinical procedures to occasional reception duties.

Essental Skills and Qualifications

A recognised qualification in dental nursing (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing or equivalent) GDC (General Dental Council) registration as a dental nurse. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and sterilisation techniques Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach Experience working in a surgery environment (ideally one year)
Desirable Attributes

Additional Qualifications e.g. Fluoride varnish application or Dental Radiography for Nurses Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Proficiency with dental software systems (e.g., iSmile, Exact or similar) Knowledge of dental health and safety regulations and compliance Occasionally assist with reception duties Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with patients Calm under pressure and able to handle stressful situations with professionalism Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skill
