We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a understanding of SOE systems to manage patient records effectively.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is updated in the IT system.
Manage appointment schedules and assist with the organisation of the practice's daily operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous.
