Job Description

- Assist the Orthodontist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays if qualified
- Prepare materials for impressions and or use an ITERO Scanner
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records

`Experience`

- At least one years experience as a qualified dental nurse with GDC registration is a must

- Reception experience will be beneficial but not a requirement.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
- Familiarity with dental or orthodontic software and computer systems will be helpful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in assisting the Orthodontist in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, preparing materials, providing oral hygiene instructions, maintaining patient records, and keeping the clinical environment clean and tidy

Previous experience as a Orthodontic dental nurse is preferred but not essential.

We are willing to train the right dental nurse in all aspects of Orthodontics long as you are eager to learn and have a great attitude.

Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials is beneficial. Familiarity with dental software and computer systems is also a plus.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with patients of all ages. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate patient records and be able to cope with a fast paced environment. You must be a team player.
