We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients at all times. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment prior to procedures, maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Provide chairside support, including suctioning, passing instruments, and managing patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Manage appointments and maintain accurate patient records using IT systems. Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide reassurance throughout their treatment journey. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care delivery.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a genuine desire to help others. Excellent communication abilities in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records and appointments. Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A team player who can work collaboratively with dental professionals while also being capable of working independently when required.
