We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice part time (Monday & Wednesday plus holiday/sickness cover). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality treatments. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for patient care. within our friendly team. Indemnity & CPD provided.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and aftercare. Support patients in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns they may have. Perform administrative duties such as reception cover, managing inventory of dental supplies and laboratory work. Stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Qualified & GDC Registered Dental Nurse with relevant certifications (Trainee may be considered for right candidate) Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience or knowledge in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous. A genuine commitment to providing excellent patient care with a friendly disposition and positive can-do attitude. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
