Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Nurse to join our dynamic multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and proficiency in IT/Dentally Software systems to ensure the smooth operation of our dental services.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their queries, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using dental practice management software. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Excellent communication abilities to effectively interact with patients and team members. Highly organised with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous. Fluency in English is essential for clear communication with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

3+ years of experience

as a Dental Nurse

GDC registered

(General Dental Council) Strong knowledge of dental procedures and techniques Excellent communication skills, both with patients and colleagues Ability to work well in a team and independently Positive and proactive attitude Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 48 per week
