Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our friendly, family-oriented dental practice. The position available is full-time, 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality treatment. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist our dentists and hygienist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients at all times. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary, utilising IT systems effectively. Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Monitor patient care before, during and after procedures to ensure their wellbeing. Collaborate with the dental team to improve practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse. Strong skills in patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A valid nursing qualification and GDC registration.
